The Waterloo Brasserie is, appropriately, situated in London’s Waterloo along the South Bank of the Thames. The restaurant is within walking distance of the famous Old Vic Theatre and serves delicious French food from 8am until late during the week and 10am until late on Saturdays.
A rich, contemporary colour-scheme offers a warm and inviting feel and the open, working wine cellar provides a neat focus to homely and flavourful food such as the classic croque monsieur, mussels cooked with port and ratatouille and beef with frites and Provencal tomatoes. After dining, you can relax with a coffee from the Brasserie’s Elektra Belle Epoque coffee machine - the first in a central London brasserie. Three courses will set you back around £40 per person; great food at reasonable prices.
