One of only 2 original public houses in the City to face the river, The Samuel Pepys is nowadays a contemporary restaurant and bar. This chic drinking and dining destination boasts a cool and stylish interior with smart modern furnishings and huge floor to ceiling windows providing stunning views over the Thames towards the Globe Theatre and Tate Modern.
The al fresco terrace sits overlooking the riverside and is simply perfect in the warmer months. Inside you’ll also find a selection of contemporary art from the likes of Dan Baldwin, Saira Hunjan and Maurizio Ortiz.
Modern European cooking fills the menu with a great selection of pizzas as well as dishes such as the Chef’s signature Piri Piri chicken with salad and chips or Cumberland sausages with creamy mash and homemade onion gravy.
