Frontline has a clubby, relaxed atmosphere, not surprising when you appreciate that the restaurant sits below a leading club of war reporters dedicated to highlighting global causes and crises. The menu is an uncompromising selection of honest British dishes, with ingredients from independent suppliers and the owner’s own farm in Norfolk. A cleverly priced wine list chosen by Malcolm Gluck opts for flat charges rather than mark-ups.
Opening Times:
Monday to Friday: 12:00 - 23:00. Open for dinner only from 18:00 to 23:00 on Saturday.
Open for Sunday roast from 12:00 to 16:00 on Sunday.

Secure Online Booking Instructions

All information is sent over a secure, encrypted connection.

  1. Select session (lunch/afternoon tea/dinner), number of diners and dining date
  2. Select booking time
  3. Enter your details (remember to select the correct telephone type)
  4. Double-check your information and book your table
  5. Immediately receive details of your confirmed booking by email and text message (we’ll let the restaurant know at the same time)

A small number of restaurants request credit card details to confirm bookings. Credit card information entered at booking time will only be passed to the restaurant if the booking party does not turn up and no cancellation has been made.
